Conceptualised by design duo Lim + Lu and organised by Designworks Foundation, the Hong Kong Design Annex exhibition spotlights and celebrates Hong Kong-based furniture and lighting designers.

Hong Kong Design Annex combines design and sustainability to explore the dynamic and potential for interconnection between the two. Elegant and thought-provoking pieces will elucidate contemporary interpretations of sustainability. From exploring how culture can be sustained through design and surveying the relationship between Hong Kong’s natural and urban landscapes, to portraying the exquisiteness of experiential furniture, the works will invite the viewers to rethink furniture and lighting design.

Visitors can gain an in-depth understanding of exhibition curation and design thinking through the Dialogue Speakers Series IV talks. From 1-2 November, a programme of conversations will bring designers together to discuss and exchange creative ideas.

The exhibition is open to the public with free admission.
