Design Anthology
Asia Pacific’s authority on design
Design Anthology was founded in 2014 as a print magazine. Today, Design Anthology is a modern multiplatform media brand dedicated to documenting creative culture across Asia Pacific and beyond.
Under the leadership of editors-in-chief Jeremy Smart and Simone Schultz, Design Anthology’s flagship biannual print magazine remains at the heart of our portfolio. We also tell stories across an array of digital platforms, host in-person experiences and present industry-leading programmes such as the Design Anthology Awards.
Produced by an international team based in key cities throughout the region, Design Anthology is dedicated to documenting thoughtful and considered spaces, products and ideas that contribute to the wellbeing of the people who use them and the world around them.
Our global roster of contributors brings the best writing and photography to Design Anthology readers, often delivering exclusive access to the most interesting and innovative openings, from homes to hotels, restaurants to retail spaces.
Design Anthology cares deeply for the reader experience. Our print edition utilises FSC-certified art papers, offering a richness to photography and illustration not found elsewhere on the newsstand. The print edition is a highly collectible physical object, at home on coffee tables and bookshelves, in libraries and studios years after publication.
These production values carry through to Design Anthology’s experiential and digital platforms too. We bring the same creative and editorial discipline to all that we do, ensuring Design Anthology readers maintain a rich, fulfilling and lasting relationship with our brand.
